Burst of power

The Autumn issue of Taralli Magazine is almost here and for the best inspiration, I'm between the forest and the sea, sand between my toes, and Japanese anemones for the road. The willows shine silver and regal in the September sun, tickled by black-capped chickadees - la meravigliosa Cincia Bigia - and coupled hummingbirds jetting through the song with the bursting power of bright iridescent fuchsia. Accents of ochre and gold flutter in patches of mushrooms and moss. The mountain breeze meets the sunshine waves in tones of salt and underwood, and the sharp September sun rises on my golden skin: "Take flight!".
